I just felt that since I have posted something like eight book reviews in a row it was time to post something else as well.
It is a hot, hot summer in the Ozarks. I'm sitting in the library right now soaking up their A/C and their wireless internet connection. Seems there is quite a little group of regulars who make the library home for a few hours a day, at least on these hot days. Someone came in awhile ago and said the temperature outside was up to 112 degrees. Heaven only knows what the heat index is.
Due to the solar nature of my power supply at home, I don't get to run the A/C all hours, so to survive we come to the library or float in the creek at home or lie still as much as we can stand. I tend to lie down, then get up and so a little something around the house and then when the perspiration is streaming down my back and running down my face, I sit or lie down again for awhile. You gotta do what you gotta do.
